This month in our Experience Curriculum, we are exploring the theme “Baby Animals!”

Through stories, hands-on activities, songs, and play-based learning, the children will be learning all about different baby animals and how they grow, move, and live. This theme supports early development in language, science, social-emotional skills, and fine motor skills in a fun and engaging way.

What we’re learning this month

 ⭐ Animal vocabulary (baby animal names like puppy, kitten, chick, calf, etc.)
⭐ Matching baby animals to their adult animals
⭐ Animal sounds and movement (hopping, crawling, waddling, etc.)
⭐ Life cycles & growth — babies grow and change just like we do
⭐ Caring for living things — kindness, gentleness, and empathy

Skills we’re building

Language & Literacy: animal-themed books, new words, and conversations
Cognitive/Science: sorting, comparing, and learning about animal needs
Fine Motor: crafts, painting, sensory play, and animal-themed center
Social Emotional: practicing gentle hands, caring, and working together
